- So, I'm very big on the idea to manifest what you want and always have positive thoughts about everything. A lot of people, when I tell them about this mindset that I have, always think it's like « Oh no, you are crazy, it doesn't exist, it's just... »
- Like a belief?
- Yeah, exactly, but I genuinely believe it, I genuinely believe that with hard work and the power of manifestation, you can achieve what you want to achieve. Some people think that I still need to mature and see what life is really like, but I think there's so much to smile about in the world, you know, and it's not a problem if I wake up and I think to myself « Today I'm gonna manifest a good day! », you know, it's not a problem. But some people think it's a problem because they're like « No! It's immature! ». So, I feel like that's something that I want people to understand about me. They think that I'm living in a dream world, like a bubble or a fantasy, but I'm not. I'm a realist, but I'm also a huge advocate for always being positive, always envisioning where you see yourself and walking towards that.
- Would you encourage people to at least try, I guess?
- Yes, for sure! Because I feel like when you believe that you are going to achieve something and you believe that you are going to get what you want to get in life, subconsciously you will work towards that, because you already believe it, so it's not so... you know? I think that is something that other people should adopt in their daily life, to actually believe. And to manifest. And if it doesn't work for them, if they think that a different way of living life works better that's fine, but just not completely shut down this idea, because it does actually work for other people.
- So, what would be your manual? Do you wake up in the morning and aim for the day to be this or that?
- Yeah so, I feel like even if you're going through a problem or an issue, you have to look for the bright side of life. Every time I have a negative thought, some people might think it's running away from your problems, but I just think it's like I'm replacing a negative thought with a positive thought. When I first came to this city, I had a huge problem with the weather, because I'm from Kuwait, it's very sunny, very hot as well, so I'm used to get sun everyday, but obviously here it's not the case, it's raining, it's cold and everything, so I would wake up and I would think to myself « Oh it's dark, it's depressing »... no, it's not depressing. I'm here for a reason, I'm here to get my degree, I'm here to better myself. So that's a challenge I have to work through. So I see this as personal growth. I changed the narrative, I changed it from being dark and bloomy to « No, this is my personal growth ». Something I do everyday is choosing positivity over negativity. And that's how I live my life.
- So it's also about seeing different angles to one situation?
- Yes, different angles, exactly, different perspectives. Trying to change the bad to the good, you know?
- And seeing the good, not only the bad...
- Exactly! Even with the news, they always focus on the negative, you see very rarely a nice positive piece of news, it's mainly negative, you know? It's not all so negative, there's so much good in the world, there's a lot of good in the world...
